Air pollution monitoring using our nitrogen dioxide analyser provides long-term assessments of emissions management actions and air pollution control. Nitrogen dioxide is a hazardous gas and therefore ambient air analyses are becoming increasingly important as organisations implement their air quality control actions.
Nitrogen dioxide analysis involves quantitative determination of the concentrations of nitrate ions chemically adsorbed to the nitrogen dioxide monitor by UV/Visible Spectrophotometry with reference to a calibration curve. Our air analyses are all conducted by UKAS Accredited Methods, working to ISO 17025.
Suitable for carrying out spatial or localized ambient air quality monitoring for nitrogen dioxide. Nitrogen dioxide diffusion sampling for ambient air monitoring can be an excellent tool for any pollution assessment survey or on-going study. Capable of providing long-term assessments for air quality modelling or determining air management locations. Nitrogen dioxide monitoring is widely used for ambient air quality monitoring traffic emissions and emissions from fuel combustion
The nitrogen dioxide air monitor forms part of Gradkos range of air monitors for organic and inorganic pollution. Emissions sampling using diffusion tubes is used in greenhouse gas monitoring programmes, pollution research and air pollution modelling.
