Air quality monitoring using our combined NO2 and SO2 analyser provides long-term assessments of emissions management actions and air pollution control. Hazardous air pollutant monitoring is becoming increasingly important as organisations implement their air quality control actions.
Quantitative determination of the concentrations of NO2 and SO2 adsorbed by the passive monitor is made by Ion Chromatography with reference to a calibration curve. Our air analyses are all conducted by UKAS Accredited Methods, working to ISO 17025.
Suitable for carrying out spatial or localized ambient air quality monitoring for sulphur dioxide and nitrogen dioxide. Diffusion sampling for ambient air monitoring can be an excellent tool for any pollution assessment survey or on-going study. Capable of providing long-term assessments for air quality modelling or determining air management locations. It can be used for co-location projects alongside an automatic analyzer but it is not recommended for bias comparison measurements, for this application, separate NO2 and SO2 diffusion should be employed. Please see our relevant pages for separate tubes.
This air monitor forms part of Gradkos range of air monitors for organic and inorganic pollution. Emissions sampling using diffusion tubes is used in greenhouse gas monitoring programmes, pollution research and air pollution modelling.
