- General screening of VOCs with reporting of the most abundant compounds or total VOC analysis
- PAH testing
- Environmental tobacco smoke
- Odour measurement – for example from landfill gas emissions or cigarette smoke odour
- Non-methane hydrocarbon analysers for hydrocarbon gas detection
Analysis of VOC monitors can be tailored to the specific requirements of the customer. Options include:
· Measurement of total volatile organic compounds
· Speciated VOC analysis – hydrocarbons, petroleum hydrocarbons, environmental tobacco smoke, halogenated VOC, chlorinated VOC
· Persistant organic pollutants such as PCB analyses
· Greenhouse gas monitoring such as CFCs
· PAH analyses
· Pesticide analyses
· BTEX analyses or benzene analyses
The SOIL PROBE TM * pinpoints leaks and identifies the plume of underground VOC contamination. The probes are used in conjunction with the VOC thermal desorption diffusion tube for pollution research and are positioned in the soil, in a grid pattern over key areas of a site. This type of emissions sampling provides a quick, low cost indication of pollution “hot spots”. *The VOC-Mole Soil Probe is a registered trademark of Markes International Ltd.
