Waterra currently has two Inline Disposable 0.45 Micron Filter options available — the high turbidity FHT-45 and the NEW medium turbidity FMT-45. Recently, we've added a 0.2 micron filter to our product line as well — the CAP300X2. All three filter types attach easily to a variety of pumps, tubing, and other sampling devices such as our Clear PVC Ecobailer or the Eco-Pro Bigmouth Bailers. All Waterra Inline Disposable Micron Filters are pre-rinsed with one litre of de-ionized water to ensure purity, and are now certified to rinse clean. Independent ICP/MS analysis proves it. All filter orders ship with a Certificate of Analysis.
High turbidity -- FHT-45
The Waterra FHT-45 0.45 micron groundwater filter offers the user the most surface area available in capsule type filters today. The unique open pleat geometry and 700 square cm surface area provide the maximum media exposure while ensuring that even with the most turbid samples, you will not lose filtration media to blinding.
The Waterra FHT-45 capsule type groundwater filter uses high quality polyethersulphone 0.45 micron filter media which offers excellent particle retention above the target micron size range. The high void volume of this media also helps prolong media life.
The Waterra FHT-45 groundwater filter also offers the user greater flexibility over other products by providing a compound inlet. It has both a 3/8' threaded nipple and a 1/2' hose barb allowing the filter to be attached easily to a variety of pumps and tubing sizes.
Medium turbidity -- FHT-45
The medium turbidity Waterra FMT-45 groundwater filter has all of the great features of the Waterra FHT-45, but with a reduced surface area at 300 sq. cm. These filters provide an economical alternative for lower turbidity groundwater sampling, when the highest possible capacity is not required.
