Hand Anemometer

This is a compact, portable and passive instrument requiring no power supply or batteries, which gives a direct reading of wind speed in four different scales simultaneously. A vertical spindle carrying three small plastic cups of 35mm diameter rotate on ball bearings at a rate proportional to wind speed. The anemometer has a handle and two curved feet to prevent damage to the cups when it is laid down.
