IE-061 is a metal precipitate that strongly bonds to heavy metals in water. The metal sulfides formed are insoluble 1,000 times below hydroxide insolubility levels (refer to the solubility chart below). The FloccinAgents™ combined with the IE-061 as the metal precipitate, provides quick settling and a sludge that usually passes the TCLP/STLC tests for more environmentally sound disposal as the metals will not leach out in landfill disposal.
