Product that has been through a drum drying process is usually scraped off in the form of a film or rough flakes. For final transformation into uniform grains, the Royal GMF-Gouda Mill sifter can be installed at the end of the drying line. It is often applied in for instance turn-key baby food or potato processing lines.
The Royal GMF-Gouda Mill Sifter has very high grain division capability. Product passes through a series of purpose designed sieves in a process that is unique to this model.
Flakes or powders can be produced to any degree of fineness above 500 microns and the desired grade can be precisely selected and controlled. Any particle that does not make the grade – be it too coarse, burnt or foreign – is automatically separated and removed.
The Royal GMF-Gouda Mill Sifter combines gentle operation with high sifting capacity for trouble-free automatic milling. It is designed to run relatively slowly to avoid the potential for product damage. And since foreign matters or coarse materials are removed, deployment of the Mill Sifter serves to protect downstream equipment in automated operating systems.
The Royal GMF-Gouda is ideal for deployment as an inline sifter, wherever fractionating, de-lumping and control sifting is required.
Two basic models are available. One is based on execution with a hopper and the other on execution with an outlet screw. Both models are used in processing lines for production of baby food, potato flakes and many other processes where flakes or powders are requested.
The two models are available in different sizes with sieve lengths varying from 600 to 2500 mm and sieve sizes from 0.5 mm up to 10 mm.
