Moyno, Inc. has taken its progressing cavity expertise and applied it in a newly designed, vertical arrangement to satisfy the needs of end users in a broad array of industries, including offshore oil exploration and production, oil refining, processing plants, and municipal and industrial wastewater treatment.

The new Moyno Vertical Pump is specifically designed for subsurface applications. In order for it to reach standard depths of up to 20 feet, the Moyno Vertical Pump includes an extra-long intermediate shaft supported by a flange bearing with replaceable bushings. Its inlet is submerged to pull fluid from the bottom of a sump, pit or other underground storage vessel and discharge it at the surface for further processing downstream. An optional suction strainer prevents debris from entering the pump resulting in reduced downtime for maintenance and cleaning.

Engineered for optimum installation flexibility, the Moyno Vertical Pump can be flange mounted to closed tanks or affixed to mounting beams above open tanks. Its wide variety of materials of construction make it adaptable to nearly any operating condition.

Easy Maintenance & Space Saving Design

For simplified routine maintenance, the Vertical Pump’s standard, single mechanical seal can be easily serviced without removing the entire unit from its mount. In addition, no special tools are required for repairs. Where space is at a premium, the compact, vertical, close-coupled design of the Moyno Vertical Pump makes it the right choice.
