NetdB is a versatile system that can be used: In stand-alone mode with a Pocket PC remote control, thus benefiting from the recording and storage capacities of the instrument In recorder/real-time analyser mode, from the dBFA Suite software or from a LabVIEW / MATLAB / C/C++ application. Used as a single unit or as chained units, NetdB is very flexible.

Used as a single unit or as chained units, NetdB is very flexible:

  • NetdB with 4 channels, NetdB with 6 channels, NetdB with 8 channels, NetdB with 10 channels or NetdB with 12 channels, based on an adaptation of the firmware
  • NetdB with 20 channels, achieved by adding a rear card (8 channels)
  • NetdB with multiple synchronised channels, by chaining of the units using long-distance Ethernet cables (patented connection)


NetdB is a versatile and open instrument that can be used in stand-alone mode or in PC acquisition mode:

  • Embedded internal hard disk up to 85 GB
  • Integrated batteries with 2h operating life depending on selected configuration
  • Possible driving from LabVIEW, MATLAB, C/C++,...
  • Compatibility with dBFA Suite, dBPower software dedicated to Sound Power, dBSonic software dedicated to Sound Quality… to meet industrial requirements

Using fixed and/or wireless communication, NetdB can be adapted for better on-site performance:

  • Ethernet connection for data synchronisation and transfer to the PC for analysis
  • WiFi connection for control using the Pocket PC WiFi remote control
  • Signal generation (Sine/ Swept sine/ Burst / White noise/ Pink noise/ MLS/ WAV)
  • Jack and AES/EBU standard digital stereo audio output
