Do you need constantly uniform, optimally compacted pellets? Our machines process also materials which are difficult  to compact:

The product is formed into endless strands at a high throughput which are precisely cut by means of knives. With a roller speed of only 2.5 m/s an optimum deaeration of the product is achieved. The plants are extremely silent with a noise level of less than 70 dbA. 12 types of pelleting presses are available for different applications.

Flexible, user-friendly, making low maintenance demands

Large pelleting chambers ensure operation without blockages. The roller gap can be adjusted during operation, the dies can be rapidly replaced, and the roller bearings are lifetime-lubricated.

Our electronic engineers develop customized software for automated pelleting press operation. We design and install switch and control plants. Every pelleting press is tested at full load before delivery. Our pilot plant is at our customers' disposal for tests.

Switch and control panels for all plant sizes are designed, built, and installed by KAHL. Our electrical engineers develop custom-made application software for ensuring a high degree of operating safety and efficiency. The EAPR is the pelleting press control system for an optimum, automatic operation of the flat die pelleting presses of the company KAHL. It consists of a local control cabinet with a graphic operator panel (OP) and an S7-PLC by Siemens as central components. The EAPR controls and regulates all the relevant process parameters.

For the production of pan grinder rollers of different diameters, widths, and profiles a flexible production line with robot-shuttle is available. Consequently a trouble-free spare parts supply is ensured. The dies are produced by the latest automatic deep-hole gun drilling machines. Hardening is carried out in our specialized department within the company.
