RHZ 400-1300S - Horizontal Single Shaft Industrial Shredders

The RHZ Horizontal Series Shredders are medium speed, single shaft industrial shredders. The RHZ Series Shredders have from a 12' to 51” opening capable of processing a wide range of long, thin wood waste. These heavy duty models provide an extremely cost effective solution for your most demanding shredding requirements.

The solid steel rotor shaft comes in 10”, 14”and 19” diameters depending on your requirements and is powered by robust 30HP to 150HP electric motors. All shredders are equipped with load sensing feed rolls that guarantee material entry and constant feed to the rotor.

With three cutting knife options, the shredder can be designed for your specific application. The circular version knives can be rotated up to 8 times before they have to be changed. Material sizing is determined by the perforation openings in the screen. There are multiple screen options available from 3/4”to 4”openings. Discharged material can be transported by pneumatic, belt or screw conveyors.

Full shredder system automation can be accomplished through optional PLC controls. For high and low volume users this series is an excellent, cost effective option for the processing of wood waste.
