Screw conveyor contains five basic elements

• Frame
• Screw
• Bearing housing and sealing
• Operating unit
• Hatches

Conveyor frames can be U-channel or tubular, depending on the application. Frames can be constructed of carbon steel or acid resistant or stainless steel. Connections to other equipment or processes are also built of the same material.

Screws can be manufactured of carbon steel or acid resistant or stainless steel. Screw shafts can be lined with acid resistant or stainless steel pipe. Rolling spiral is installed by welding it to the lining pipe.
