A system for removing plastic and other lightweight materials from compost. It is the only plastic removal system on the market today that will continue to remove plastic from compost without slowing down production.
Why choose Airlift
After ten years of experience with compost processing, plastic removal, and in-house product engineering, a practical and economical system was developed. Our plastic debris removal solution is designed with the following three objectives in mind
The Airlift Separator AL-200 can scale to almost any size operation at only a fraction of the investment of other plastic removal equipment on the market today. It even works with the existing hydraulic power supply on your screening equipment.
The AL-200 is the smallest plastic removal system on the market today. Sitting on a 4’ x 4’ footprint, it can be moved easily from place to place with a forklift or a loader. The AL-200 allows you to remove plastic debris at the source without slowing or stopping production.
Ease of Installation
The Airlift Separator AL-200 can be assembled and operated by a single person in a couple of hours. Fifteen minutes for periodic cleaning and maintenance every couple months is all the unit requires.
'We run the Airlift Separator on a CEC screen and it has definitely met our expectations. It did exactly what we were told it would do by cleaning up the plastic from our “middles.” It has made a product that was previously not marketable, due to plastic contamination, into a saleable product. We would recommend it to any processing site that has a problem with plastic contamination.'
Hawaiian Earth Products, Ltd
'The Airlift is a dynamite machine for its effectiveness in removing plastic from our wood waste. We make a quality product but continue to fight plastic contamination in our wood waste processing. The Airlift has made our product better, so much so that it has all but eliminated the frustration of having to deal with customer complaints regarding the contamination in our finished products.'
Grover Landscape Services
'Does what it is supposed to do. 8000 hours [with] no issues. Highly recommend. Pricey but important to the process. Gets majority of the plastic. The thing just works.'
