The Type F real-time graph shows the water level against a record of time. The range of chartable water level is limited only by the length of the fl oat line and fl oat size. The Type F is often used simultaneously with electronic data loggers. The Stevens A/F Encoder or SDI-12 Encoder can easily by attached directly to the Type F to transmit water level measurement to a data logger or used for transmission of water level or flow information.

Time scales relate to the rate that the pen travels across the chart, and are expressed in inches (cm) per day(s).
