Since 1990, I have been a self employed energy economist with a specialization in wind and solar technology and finances. I also advise clients on climate change mitigation. I have published 30 papers. My paper, “A Financial Worksheet for Computing the Cost (¢/kWh) of Solar Electricity Generated at Grid Connected Photovoltaic (PV) Generating Plants”, was published in the Journal of Solar Energy Engineering, August, 2002, Vol. 124, page 319. My 1st mitigation paper was “An Analysis of the Policies Required to Earn Carbon (CO2) Emissions Credits When Generating Electricity at Wind Power Plants” WINDPOWER 2000, May 2, 2000. On 22 April at the 2010 EWEC, I will present my paper, “The Affect of COP15 on the US Wind Industry”. I received my MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management and my BA from University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC). I have taught at the Université Pierre Mendès France, France, at UIC and was a tenured fulltime Professor at the College of DuPage.
