EVAPORATIVE DESORPTION (SOIL OVEN)
Evaporative Desorption (Soil Oven) is a patented thermal soil treatment technology. The technology was developed to reduce remediation costs and is 25 to 40% less than standard rotary kilns. We have found that excavation is the most certain remedy for contaminated sites. The system uses a batch process that allows the operators to complete soil treatment at the same time they are conducting other remedial tasks such as demolition, excavation or back filling. The process does not require screening of debris which further reduces costs. Labor costs are cut by more than 50 percent when using the patented technology. This is a very cost effective technology. Up to 1000 tons a day can be treated.
HEAVY METAL TREATMENT TECHNOLOGIES
ADT's heavy metal treatment technology centers on a unique array of chemical reagents together with a body of remedial knowledge and experience that significantly reduces the toxicity (TCLP) of heavy metals in soil, sludge, sediment or ashes.
Federal regulation requires the removal and proper disposal of heavy metal wastes exceeding EPA minimum clean up standards. ADT's proprietary treatment methods renders regulated levels of lead, chrome, cadmium, arsenic and other heavy metals permanently into a non-leachable, safer form, suitable for leaving on site or taken off site as non (RCRA) hazardous waste and is very cost effective compared to landfilling.
OXIDATION TECHOLOGY FOR TPH, VOLATILES and SEMI-VOLATILES
The OXYTEK process uses chemical reagents - not bugs as in bio treatments or heat as in thermal to break down TPH into its sub-constituents. This eliminates environmental problems, has no byproducts, emits no emissions and is more cost effective than thermal treatments. It has been shown to be effective for a wide range of TPH constituents.
