Jack Peabody - Western Region Manager - Regenesis

Mr. Peabody has over 32 years in the environmental remediation industry. He did both his undergraduate & graduate work at the University of Wisconsin/Madison in Chemical Engineering and Environmental / Sanitary Engineering respectively. He spent his first 10 years in the low level radioactive & hazardous chemical waste management field throughout North & South America and Europe. This included the design, construction, & operations of the largest chemical waste disposal facility in the northwestern US; directed hazardous chemical spill clean-up, repackaging, and restoration of abandoned sites throughout western Canada & the US; directed federal/state permitting of 18 hazardous waste facilities throughout the US; oversaw engineering design and permitting of South Americas first hazardous waste facility located outside of Buenos Aires, Argentina; and analyzed 22 British acquisition candidates and U.S. opportunities in strategic metal recovery, chemical & radioactive waste incineration, chemical destruction techniques, and separation/treatment technologies. Mr. Peabody was then an environmental consultant for 10 years working for several of the major environmental consulting firms on both the east and west coast directing numerous technical & business development projects covering permitting, waste management techniques, process design, market development, and sales strategy. Finally, for the last 12 years Mr. Peabody has been with Regenesis as the Western Region Manager overseeing application and business development activities throughout an area stretching from West and Central Canada to Northern California including Alaska and Hawaii.

Kelly Ameli - National Sales Manager of Land Science Technologies (LST)

Ms. Ameli has over 6 years of experience managing Brownfield and landfill redevelopment projects where passive barriers and venting systems were implemented throughout the United States. Ms. Ameli cultivated the northeastern market and introduced spray-applied asphalt/latex barriers to the southern market implementing the first projects of its kind in this region. Kelly successfully gained product approval from various regulatory agencies including New York City School Construction Authority, Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection, and Florida Department of Resources and Management. Her current responsibilities include managing brownfield redevelopment projects and Geo-Seal sales nationwide. Kelly oversees Geo-Seal installations and provides technical support, while, providing recommendations on gas vapor barrier design, venting design and specification development. Kellys role includes educating the environmental community on Geo-Seal and advancements in gas vapor barrier technology by frequently making presentations to high profile environmental firms, regulatory agencies and developers.

Land Science Technologies (LST)™ is focused on the development and commercialization of technologically advanced and environmentally sound technologies for sustainable development.. A focal point of LST is the area of Brownfields which offers many opportunities for systematic technology research, development and deployment. LST is dedicated to providing the engineering, environmental and real estate industries with proven, cost-effective and leading edge solutions. LST is a division of Regenesis, Inc., a global leader in groundwater and soil remediation technologies since 1994.

Geo-Seal™, from Land Science Technologies is an advanced gas vapor management technology designed for use on Brownfields or any type of environmentally impaired site, i.e. manufacturing facilities, dry cleaners, gasoline service stations, landfills, etc. Geo-Seal is placed between the foundation of the building and the soil pad to eliminate vapor exposure pathways and stop contaminated vapors from permeating through the slab. Vapor management systems incorporating both Geo-Seal vapor barrier and Vapor-Vent ventilation provide industry leading sub-foundation vapor mitigation technology. By deploying these systems developers ensure a healthy indoor environment while reducing the cost of site remediation and expediting site construction.

The Advantages of Geo-Seal Include:

  • Advanced Vapor Intrusion Protection
  • Triple-Layer System
  • Dual Chemical Resistant Layers
  • Spray Applied Core Layer
  • Field Proven
  • High Puncture Resistance
  • Certified Application Network

Microbial Insights, Inc. (MI) is an environmental biotechnology company specializing in the development and application of molecular biological tools (MBTs) that aid our clients in understanding and managing biological processes ranging from bioremediation of chlorinated solvents and petroleum hydrocarbons to biofilm formation. Since 1992, MI has become a leader in the application of molecular (non-culture based) approaches emphasizing nucleic acid (DNA and RNA) and lipid biomarkers (PLFA) for more effective evaluation of microbial processes than traditional methods. Currently, MI offers a wide range of genetic and chemical diagnostic tools to facilitate intelligent site design and management decisions in the environmental remediation industry.
