My client provides design, construction and development services for residential, commercial and governmental clients across the east coast of the United States. They have a special focus on building and installing renewable energy plants and projects. An exciting opportunity for anyone looking to add some commercial responsibility to a strong background of technical skills has arisen, as they are now looking for a new construction manager to lead the developments of their new solar photovoltaic projects for 2010.
Key Responsibilities:
Sourcing new clients and pitching the benefits of solar energy
Negotiating the terms and conditions of the contracts
Performing site investigations and feasibility studies
Turnkey management of the construction of PV projects
Ensuring that the projects are completed within the required time and budget
Candidate Requirements:
3-5 years of experience managing the construction of photovoltaic plants or projects
A minimum of 10 years of total engineering and construction experience
An Electrical/General Construction licence
A degree in electrical engineering
Strong business acumen
