My client provides environmental consultancy and financial brokerage services to companies within the emissions market under the Kyoto Protocol. Their business is divided into three divisions:
Joint Implementation Project Development
Trading of Emissions Reductions (ERUs)
Consultancy on JI Projects and the EU Emission Trading Scheme (ETS)
An exciting opportunity has arisen to spearhead their 2010 expansion from their Ukrainian office. They are searching for a business development manager with a strong understanding of JI protocol to develop commercial strategies and increase sales for their JI Project Development department, in order to continue the rapid growth their business has enjoyed over the last few years.
Key Responsibilities:
Developing sales and marketing strategies
Proactively sourcing new clients and originating sales deals
Managing the key accounts and the post-sales relationships
Providing JI, CDM and carbon market reports for senior management
Representing the company and conferences and exhibitions
Candidate Requirements:
A minimum of 2 years experience of Joint Implementation
3-5 years of business development experience
A degree in a financial or engineering based subject
Fluent Ukrainian or Russian speaker
Mobility for frequent travel
