Description:
We currently have an excellent opportunity for an Electrical Engineer with our busy client, a company who is a world leader in the world of power generation and integrated power plants for the production of electricity and air quality control systems. They currently have an opportunity to recruit an experienced Electrical Design Engineer with a background in generator design.
As an Electrical Engineer your responsibilities will include reviewing customers' enquiry specifications and providing technical descriptions, details and man hour estimates to support tendering activities. You will also give technical review of contract specifications and meet with customers, review contract performance and provide forecast commitment in line with project plan.
The successful candidate will be educated to a minimum of HND level or equivalent in Electrical Engineering and membership of a professional institute and supervisory experience would be an advantage. You will have electrical engineering design experience, be technically competent, be commercially aware and customer focused and ideally have knowledge of large generator design.
In return, our client will provide an excellent salary and benefits package, including a discretional bonus as well as support and training to allow development, and the opportunity of promotion. You will work 37 hours a week flexitime.
