Description:

The main purpose of this role is to set up and operate the group's SystemsLink based utility and CRC* data bureau, providing and controlling data required for planning and decision making on matters of utility (fuel, electricity & water) and environmental management.
The key accountabilities are:
- Management of data and outputs from M&T IS Contracts and ex. IS Contracts
- Setting up and configuring SystemsLink M&T software to be used by the group as the data management tool
- Acquire historic data from all available sources and populating database with historic energy and cost data
- Develop energy reports using Excel and aM&T data
- Establishing league tables for reporting and KPIs.
- Devise, prepare and guide operational management on Internal and external reports for PPP contract compliance.
- Provide CRC advice and guidance.
- Prepare and maintain a CRC database for clients and UK&I region reference and to meet regulatory requirements.
- Delivery of energy reports on a 1/6/12 month basis to internal and external clients.
- Preparation of CRC Evidence pack for the Group itself and its clients as part of ongoing contract support.
- Management of CRC allowance purchases – identification of required allowances, monitoring of consumption against CRC allowance forecast
- Assist with development of a CRC bidding strategy
- Procurement liaison to guide supplier and tariff selection
- Visit and/or liaise with IS client sites M&T and audit / guidance
- Establish an M&T audit programme
- Prepare and consolidate benchmarking data
- Check utility Bills with Utility suppliers for appropriate tariffs
- Take up variances and remedy errors on agreed tariffs
Job Holder Specification:
-Minimum GCSE Grades a-c to include Maths or Statistics with English. Desirable – would be a numerate discipline acquired up to degree level or acquired through a professional examination route e.g. AAT or CIMA
- Advanced MS Excel skills (VBA programming an advantage)
Desirable
- Some building services or facilities management knowledge would be desirable
- Experience of software based M&T system (ideally SystemsLink), or similar
- Working with and understanding utility invoices
- Interest in energy & environmental management
Personal Qualities:
- Able to communicate technical information effectively at all levels.
- An analytical self starter, who is able to prioritise, plan and manage his/her own time in accordance with assigned workloads
- Good all-round technical/data handling skills with the ability to add to those skill sets within an active environment.
- Good administrative and organisational skills.
