PET bottles to bales: BaleTainer®!

Strautmann Umwelttechnik GmbH, one leading manufacturer of balers and briquetting presses, joins the drinktec 2009. In hall B3, booth 115 they will show the unique product range for compaction of PET bottles.

The company from Glandorf, Germany, is the only one who offers solutions for the compaction of PET bottles to bales and briquetts.

The new BaleTainer® compacts PET fully automatic to bales. The special feature here is the press concept: A bale consists of three slices which are automatically bound together. The bale density is similar to that from a 180 t channel press, having by a compact design at the same time.

A comparable low invest leads the BaleTainer® to become the most economical way to bales for 1 up to 10 t material per day!

PET bottles to briquettes: BrikPress!

The new generation of briquetting presses is named BrikPress. Since the introduction of PET bottles in 1990 by the Coca Cola Company Strautmann Umwelttechnik GmbH develops and produces machines for the compaction of PET bottles and is nowadays the absolute specialist in that industry.

Both technologies will be in operation during the exhibition.

LiquiDrainer – economical de-watering of filled bundles

The LiquiDrainer is a new wet separator for filled PET bottles, beverage cans and Tetra Pak®. Its compact design enables an easy cleaning and a simple transportation.

The way of function is quite easy: After the input of full products into the funnel, a rotor draws in the material with a performance of up to 6.000 1 l PET bottles per hour. A new rotor technology cuts (not crushes!) the bottles and the liquids can drain off. The emptied material is automatically pushed out via the discharging tunnel into a briquetting press or container.
