Ariel WebInsight saves EH&S professionals valuable time as it eliminates the need to research and reference regulations from multiple sources, scattered across numerous websites and/or published in a variety of formats by providing global chemical regulatory content in one central, searchable, user-friendly repository.

Determine a GHS classification of a substance or mixture and generate GHS labels. To generate a GHS classification, users enter a formulation and check what regulatory, toxicity or eco-toxicity data is available for the individual components. Users can use the regulatory and scientific data modules available in WebInsight, or add their own. Once all product and substance data is entered into the system, users run the GHS rules engine to derive a classification.

The GHS rules engine assigns GHS classification based on the UN Purple Book, but also makes considerations for country specific variations and cut-off limits.

Once the classification report is generated, users can generate a GHS label with all the necessary pictograms, hazard and precautionary statements, based on the assigned classification. Labels are available in English, Korean and Japanese.

Access a phrase library containing phrases for all of the 16 sections of an (M)SDS and GHS hazard classification phrases in more than 30 languages, as well as Hazard and Precautionary (H and P) statements for conformance with GHS.

Enables users to rank their products according to 3E Company’s formulas and assign a green score to products based on criteria that include an evaluation of a product’s impact on human health, property and the environment. Users of the application perform analyses to compare the green score of multiple substances and determine optimal inputs for new products. The module also helps determine how the use of certain substances affects the overall green rating of the final product.
