As our VPO units have never failed, the main point of risk is the installation. Even a simple installation includes cabling, protection, the unit’s enclosure, the positioning and risk assessment onsite, the installation downtime and the effect of optimised voltage on some equipment. The risks when implementing a voltage optimisation solution can be extensive and if not properly mitigated they can cause serious problems for the site. powerPerfector manage the entire installation process to mitigate this risk for our clients.
We have a team of Project Managers who work with our Approved Contractors. Our Project Managers are PRINCE2 trained and have the support of several administrative and logistics staff to make sure that the delivery and installation of VPO is in harmony with the site’s requirements. We use two specialist delivery companies, experienced in positioning units in the most unreachable places, with minimal intrusion.
Our Project Managers are also supported by regionally based field engineers. The field engineers act as a technical resource and as quality review. Having a team of qualified engineers to review the work of our contractors allows us to be sure our clients are receiving the quality we would expect. It also means we can continually provide training for our installation partners, so that they are up to date with best practice.
Having field based engineers also allows us to respond rapidly to client issues by getting onsite quickly. As a reassurance to our clients, we operate a 24 hour phone line which will give you round the clock access to a duty engineer.
