The OSSR software uses audio data recorded on-site and extracts the occurrence of sound sources related to transportation (aircrafts, trains,...) while rejecting other noise sources. Audio input files can originate from Blue Solo Sound Level Meters for Noise Measurement or Oper Noise Measurement Systems for Monitoring in the Environment.

Output files are in standard XML format. They fit easily into the system database and can be imported into dBTrait Noise Processing Software. OSSR software comes with the audio graphics editor Audacity®. The Audacity® editor can superimpose sound signals with recognised aircraft / train / ... labels for viewing and listening purposes.
