GOESLink.com is Stevens’ on-line data management service, enabling you to receive, analyze and archive all your data transmissions via the Geostationary Operational Environmental Satellite Data Collection System (GOES DCS). GOESLink.com provides you with GOES DCS data for analysis and downloading from any computer with an Internet connection, and functions as a web-based Local Readout Ground Station (LRGS). In addition to viewing data in a tabular or graphical format, users may quickly export data to Microsoft Excel. GOESLink.com is designed for current and/or prospective users of the GOES DCS.
With GOESLink.com users do not need to purchase any base station DRGS hardware or software for decoding data from a Direct Readout Groundstation (DRGS) or from the NOAA/NESDIS data acquisition center.
Stevens has been collecting and storing all GOES DCS data in its raw data format since October 2004. Users of the GOES DCS may contact Stevens to access this archived data via GOESLink.com or to have it e-mailed in raw data format.
