Algae control in ponds - Water and Wastewater

Treating algae in ponds with ultrasound reduces odor problems without harming the ecological balance in the pond. Eliminate up to 70-90% of the algae. Reduce odor problems. Safe for fish, plants and other aquatic life.

Ponds in golf courses, parks or gardens often have both an ornamental and irrigation purpose.

To furnish both, it is important that the water looks clear, is free of any solids and should not contain chemicals that may harm the plant growth. Algae growth within ponds can complicate irrigation; as filamentous algae may clog the pump, and suspended algae can clog nozzles later in the system. Chemical-based herbicides and algaecides can be substituted by the LG Sonic technology. Together with a low power consumption, maintenance is reduced to a minimum as the equipment can incorporate an automatic Aquawiper™ that will clean the ultrasonic transmitter surface.
