remote control Applications available in Gambia

  • Remote level monitoring

Leachate level control is a primary function in landfills. Although different types of pumps are used, all pumps need to be installed with a totalizing counter mounted at the top of the well head to monitor the pump cycles and to calculate the total volume of leachate removed from the well. Instead of manually monitoring the leachate level and collecting the pump count data, use FlexPower™ Counter Nodes to wirelessly send data from the pumps back to a central control location to save time and eliminate errors.

    Coating and Laminating

MEGTEC’s experience and application know-how are at your command for tough drying and web handling applications such as slow-drying coatings and materials or thin film coating and laminating. Dryers can be equipped with a wide variety of nozzle configurations ranging from simple slot nozzles to sophisticated Coanda-style air bars and patented air foil systems. A full range of heat sources are available including steam, direct and indirect gas-fired, thermal oil, electric, hot water and IR. In addition, the air handling systems can be integrated into the dryer enclosure or stand-alone for remote installation. When the process requires pollution control systems for solvent-based applications, MEGTEC also offers regenerative thermal oxidizers, solvent recovery, distillation and purification systems. MEGTEC also offers waste heat recovery packages to “close the energy loop” between pollution controls and the process, in order to reduce production costs and increase customer profits

Amphibious multipurpose dredger for utilizing in construction projects

The harder the conditions are, the greater the Watermaster`s advantages are.

Civil engineering jobs in water are typical for Watermaster Classic. Watermaster is ideal when e.g. embedding cables and pipes in the bottom and it can also do other kinds of maintenance work effectively. The machine moves to the site with its own propulsion system and remote controlled spuds give proper anchorage for steady and efficient piling, excavating work as well as for cable mounting.

  • Automated solutions for the hazardous waste pit dredging

Liquid Waste Technology’s electric and diesel driven dredges can improve safety for workers dredging hazardous materials. Our custom built dredges can be equipped with remote control to allow workers to stand up to 762 meters (2500 feet) away from the toxic area, increasing their safety. Liquid Waste Technology can build dredges with automated controls, that dredge entire ponds using PLC controls. This increases workers safety and productivity in hazardous dredging applications.

  • Automated solutions for the wastewater treatment pond / lagoon / plant dredging

LWT’s dredging systems can be used for wastewater treatment plant, pond, lagoon dredging applications. Complete automated remote controlled dredging systems result in increased plant efficiency, and accommodate increased plant flow. One of the keys to successful automated controls is the ability of the dredge system to feed a constant percentage of solids to the pressing plant, using in-line density and flow meters to allow the operators to dial in the desired rate of solids.

  • Dams and Dikes Structural Health Monitoring Systems

The control of a dam requires a wide range of important information coming from the sensors, which are of vital importance for the life of a dam. Engineers in charge can take specific and sudden decisions for a correct control of a dam`s reservoir, body and foundations. However, monitoring is not only carried out by sensors, but it also involves direct or remote visual inspection as well as topographical measuring.

  • Temperature monitoring in a rotary kiln

Taking measurements on rotating equipment, such as a kiln or rotary table, usually requires a complex and expensive system of cabling. Even taking precautions and using specialized equipment doesn’t eliminate cable tangles and breaks. The SureCross Wireless Network eliminates complexities associated with data acquisition from rotating and moving machinery such as a rotating kilns in cement or composting industry. Crucial temperature data is acquired using a thermocouple and transmitted from the FlexPowered SureCross Nodes to a remote Gateway in the plant’s control center.

  • Forest Carbon Monioring

Our Ecosystem (OE) can help you with: - Quantification of initial carbon stocks - Baseline and leakage assessment - Monitoring and verification OE makes it easy to access, organize, share and obtain information from maps and other spatial data on land and ecosystems, giving you the opportunity to interact with the data in an intuitive user interface. OE is delivered as a service that does not require specialist knowledge on geographical information system (GIS) software or remote sensing data and techniques within your organization. Instead of having to look at paper maps in a report, you will be able to pan through the data and zoom in to areas of interest. In addition, it allows you to extract information from the data for areas of special interest using powerful analytical tools. Your OE application is set up so that your data is secure, and you can control who has access to it.

  • Airport Environmental Monitoring

Water pollution from airport run-off is increasingly coming under public and government scrutiny. As environmental regulations tighten, the ability to monitor for aviation fuel contamination from runway run-off has become essential.

Monitoring sites at airports can be extremely challenging often with no power or telephone lines available and with limited access for maintenance. Chelsea’s robust UviLux Hydrocarbon Sensor with its low power consumption and high accuracy is ideally suited for this application. Installed at various locations around the airport, deployed with it’s own integrated anti-biofouling system, utilising the GSM network, the monitoring sites send data to a secure ftp site, where any internet enabled device can access the data. In this way the systems act as any early warning system allowing any hydrocarbon discharge to be detected in real-time.

Optional environmental monitoring features include remote control to allow the user to turn equipment on and off, change the sample rate and detection range. There is also a facility to allow SMS text and email alarm notifications triggered by user-defined set-points together with customised web pages, data displays and automated data downloads via an ftp server.

Airport runoff can contain high concentrations of various pollutants, in particular polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) and polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), the environmental levels of which have to be monitored. An understanding of the magnitude of contamination due to airport runoff water is important for the effective management of airport infrastructure. Chelsea’s robust UviLux Hydrocarbon Sensor with its low power consumption and high accuracy is ideally suited to the airport environment.
