Calcite for Plastic - Plastics & Resins
The calcite is used in the production of finished products, such as plastic furniture, pipes and automotive parts, both in natural form and in coated form. The coating is mostly made with stearic acid and sometimes with calcium stearate. Polypropylene (PP), Polyamide (PA), Thermoplastic (TPES) and PVC resins are the plastics where the calcite is mainly used as a filling. In the plastic industry, the use of similar fillings, especially calcite, has increased every year. Due to many reasons such as color, purity, cheapness, calcite is used as a filling in plastic industry.
