Industrial monitoring solutions for the gas analysers areas - Monitoring and Testing - Air Monitoring and Testing
Most large coal fired power plants and combustion processes are required to monitor CO, NO and NO2 (NOx), SO2 and possibly CO2; in addition the analyser has to be normalised to Standard conditions. For this application CODEL offers the five channel GCEM 40 series which uses Infrared absorption to measure these gases plus moisture, pressure and temperature. The analyser can be configured for single channel operation to monitor any of these gases plus CH4 and HCl.

Overview Application/Industries Served
Where more channels are required, CODEL offers the GCEM 4000 which can measure seven gases from CO, CO2, NO, NO2, SO2, HCL, CH4, H2O. It uses the same non-dispersive infra-red technology as the GCEM 40 series and is used often where there are very high dust loadings.
The extractive GCEM 40E is used primarily on gas fired power stations where smaller stacks are found; it can monitor the same gases as the GCEM 40 series with the addition of an optional Oxygen sensor for normalisation purposes. Its key advantage over competitors is its simplified sampling system that does not require NOx converters or a chiller. An additional option is an integrated touch screen monitor that runs the SmartCEM data acquisition software.
The GCEM 4100 has the added ability to monitor up to seven gases (the same gases as the GCEM 4000) simultaneously.
