    Odor control for the fish feed production industry

    In the Fish feed process the product is usually conducted to the dryer through pneumatic transport, after which it falls out from the dryer into the cooler. Odour sources in this process are the flash- off of the extruder, transport air, dryer air and possibly also air from the cooler.

    The amount of air per line that is emitted and should be deodorized depends amongst others of the type of dryers/coolers (vertical or horizontal), but also whether air is recycled from cooler to the dryer.
