Most large coal fired power plants and combustion processes are required to monitor CO, NO and NO2 (NOx), SO2 and possibly CO2; in addition the analyser has to be normalised to Standard conditions. For this application CODEL offers the five channel GCEM 40 series which uses Infrared absorption to measure these gases plus moisture, pressure and temperature. The analyser can be configured for single channel operation to monitor any of these gases plus CH4 and HCl.
Applications in the oil and natural gas industry include recovery and processing, monitoring temperature and pressure of steam and other factors in oil wells, water pressure, pumping efficiency, and more. CAS DataLoggers provides dataTaker loggers with universal input channels for a wide range of input signal types.
QCAL introduces CO2Control for incubators and test chambers. These gas dosing units can be adapted to nearly every incubator or test chamber. The user can set a CO2 concentration up to 30% vol. CO2. The CO2Control measures the actual concentration and adds CO2 from a CO2 gas container. The NDIR CO2-sensor has an excellent long-term stability, which provides years of stable CO2 measurement. Also the other parts as the sample gas pump, valve and fittings are designed for maintenance-free use over years.
The TunnelTech 200 series are primarily gas monitors with optional Visibility capability. Most use Infra-red absorption technology to monitor gaseous pollutants and those with a visibility channel use optical attenuation for that application. All TunnelTech 200 analysers except the TunnelTech 205 use the same rugged corrosion resistant enclosures and have an optional Data Display unit. As there is only one moving part so reliability levels are very high and maintenance levels very low.
