dedusting filter Applications

  • Foundry dedusting systems

Dusts and fumes coming out of part of induction melting fumaces are collected by means of special designed suctioning apparatus and are filtered in both BOMAKSAN brand, Hatemak serial high performance "Cyclone" and long-life "Jet Pulse Cartridge Filter". In addition, dusts coming out of vibration screen used during mould distortion are filtered in same way.

  • Emission control & air dedusting for steel and ferrous alloys

teel and ferrous alloys production happens in industrial manufacturing processes which involve high temperature exhaust streams, often at more than 900 ºC. Typically, the gas flows into a gas conditioning tower to cool down to approximately 200 ºC, before entering into an ESP. These flue gases from steel or ferrous alloys kilns are also very maintenance demanding for bag filters and the very small size of the particles limit the use of usual dedusters such as regular cyclones and multicyclones as...

  • Air dedusting for clinker cooler

e control of clinker fines emissions after the heat exchanger, placed downstream of the clinker cooler is usually a problem for plant managers. The process is characterized by high material abrasiveness, high loads and variable flow rate in normal and maximum conditions. The usual dedusting arrangement is achieved through a bag house which is typically associated with high maintenance costs and downtime in production due to frequent filter element replacements.

  • Emission control & air dedusting for fuel oil boilers

For PM emission control in high temperature exhaust streams, such as fuel oil boilers, usual dedusters such as bag filters are very maintenance demanding. Particularly, diesel and fuel particulates are very sticky and clog to filter elements, unless protection reagents are used. Flue gas cooling is also needed in front of the filter when temperatures are higher than 200 ºC. On the other hand, regular cyclones and multicyclones are frequently not able to reduce emissions to present emission limits.
