We manufacture and supply high quality laboratory cleaners. Whether you need to remove biological debris, fingerprints, protein, starch, or dye, our products provide consistent results. Our laboratory cleaners are excellent for use on flasks, pipettes, slides, stainless steel, plastic, and other laboratory equipment and surfaces. When rinsed properly, our cleaners leave absolutely no residue. Validation information is available. For most applications a 0.5% - 2.0% solution is effective. Charlie Troxel, Product Manager at LI-COR Biosciences includes a sample of Micro-90 with each DNA sequencer the company ships: `We have found your Micro-90 Concentrated Cleaning Solution to be unsurpassed in removing gel debris and fluorescent residue from our sequencing plates. Since clean gel plates are so critical to high quality sequence data…we feel that introducing our customers to Micro-90 will help them maximize the performance of their DNA Sequencer.`

In order to ensure that an industrial process can be controlled or even improved and optimized continually an analysis of the current situation in real time is necessary. Process data like temperature, pressure but also particle concentration and size distribution of a material flow can supply valuable information and be used for the regulation or the improvement of a process.

The medical industry requires the accurate and consistent performance of its equipment. IST’s precise and reliable sensors meet the needs of these applications. Flow is perhaps the most widely used sensor in this industry, controlling medical devices where a gas or fluid is being supplied to a patient, or in cases of patient monitoring. Humidity sensors also have an application in the medical industry in products that control the air present or supplied to the patient.

The environmental field requires robust, high-sensitivity analysis capable of complying with regulations in order to always meet the stringent target values that have been established to assure the safety of the water supply and protect the environment. Moreover, in laboratories where more than 100 samples are processed per day, increasing the throughput and saving energy are issues of concern.

In 2004-2005 LIFETECH`s laboratory worked out an advanced oxidation process (AOP) for removal of dioxins and furans (PCDD/F), chlorophenols and other contaminants from the BCD process wastewater. Consequently, our technology was installed and from April 2006 successfully used in the `Spolana-Dioxins` Project at SPOLANA a.s. in Neratovice, Czech Republic, as a part of Special Wastewater Treatment Plant. Our supply consisted of an ozone generator with the output of 5 kg O3/h at 10% w/w ozone concentration, two reaction tanks with mixing systems, a vent ozone destructor, and a control system. The world largest project for removal of PCDD/F was managed by BCD CZ a.s., a subsidiary of Thermal and Chemical Soil Remediation Ltd.

In 1985, the University of Surrey in collaboration with Oxfam developed the Oxfam DelAgua Portable Water Quality Monitoring Test Kit. The Oxfam DelAgua kit enables field workers to test water quality in remote and isolated situations and in circumstances where there is no access to a water testing laboratory. Since its development in 1985, the water test kit has been used by all the major International NGO-s and other aid agencies in over 130 countries around the world.
In 2006, The University of Surrey and other investors founded DelAgua Water Testing Limited to take over the management of the DelAgua organisation. Since then, various improvements have been made, including:
- The upgrading of all kits
- The upgrade of the design, manufacturing and distribution functions
- R&D to produce a portable microbiological testing kit that provides quantitative results in less than 20 minutes.
- The upgrade of existing services and the introduction of new services, including:
- Free access to a water quality risk assessment software program on DWT`s website
- Free access to a library of reference documents on DWT`s website
In addition to distributing its own kits and consumables, DWT also offers a distribution service for other manufacturers` products. The most popular products are detailed on this website, but those not detailed can also be supplied - DWT is able to source in excess of 60,000 products from numerous manufacturers.
DWT is committed to providing services and products to enable the provision of clean drinking water for everyone around the world.
