Paper manufacturers are moving away from dedicated `make-up` rooms where traditionally they would mix their own dyes. Dyes are now delivered pre-packaged in totes. This creates a demand for a pump that can quickly and easily change from pumping one dye to another. With a Watson-Marlow peristaltic pump, the dye is contained within the tube so there is no need to flush between dye changes.
In addition, because the dye does not come into contact with any moving parts it will not damage the pump, reducing maintenance downtime and increasing reliability.
