These concerns have led to additional state and federal regulations for low emission combustion technology and how companies will deal with produced water. ABUTEC’s high temperature enclosed combustors meet state and federal regulations for burning waste gas at a minimum of 99% destruction and removal efficiency (DRE), meaning almost 100 percent of the vapor to be destroyed is converted to CO2 and water. These combustors are of high quality, flexibility, low emissions, CSA-approved and able to burn very low calorific gas. Additionally, when combined with a heat exchanger, the unit can evaporate the excess produced water eliminating the need for expensive trucking or disposal.

    Making smoke in a very open environment or external environment can be a challenging! An oil-based smoke generator, such as a ViCount system, can produce dramatically more artificial smoke than multiple water based systems. This is due to the fact that the smoke ViCounts produce, being oil-based, does not evaporate in the same way and speed that water-based smoke does. The smoke from a ViCount smoke generator will travel for 1000`s of meters, compared to a typical water based smoke machine that may produce a smoke visible for 100 meters.
