residential water system Applications
In 2004-2005 LIFETECH`s laboratory worked out an advanced oxidation process (AOP) for removal of dioxins and furans (PCDD/F), chlorophenols and other contaminants from the BCD process wastewater. Consequently, our technology was installed and from April 2006 successfully used in the `Spolana-Dioxins` Project at SPOLANA a.s. in Neratovice, Czech Republic, as a part of Special Wastewater Treatment Plant. Our supply consisted of an ozone generator with the output of 5 kg O3/h at 10% w/w ozone concentration, two reaction tanks with mixing systems, a vent ozone destructor, and a control system. The world largest project for removal of PCDD/F was managed by BCD CZ a.s., a subsidiary of Thermal and Chemical Soil Remediation Ltd.

It’s a well-documented fact that the fresh water drawn from our rivers, lakes and springs has degraded significantly in quality over the past several decades. In pursuit of improving the quality of our water resources, Scientists have applied magnetic technology systems to help clean rivers, lakes and salt-water lagoons. Water that could once be used for drinking, washing and irrigation is now impacted by sewage and industrial wastes. This makes untreated water resources non-usable for residential purposes. This challenge is being addressed by MAGNATION Next Generation Systems. This system safely and effectively helps biologically activate the water for a healthier bio-environment and improved eco-balance.

Keeping the water in our lakes, rivers, and streams clean requires monitoring of water quality at many points as it gradually makes its way from its source to our oceans. Over the years ever increasing environmental concerns and regulations have heightened the need for increased diligence and tighter restrictions on wastewater quality. Control of water pollution was once concerned mainly with treating wastewater before it was discharged from a manufacturing facility into the nation`s waterways. Today, in many cases, there are restrictions on wastewater that is discharged to city sewer systems or to other publicly owned treatment facilities. Many jurisdictions even restrict or regulate the runoff of stormwater — affecting not only industrial and commercial land, but also residential properties as well.
