The AQQA -bag is a personal device to make clean and safe water from water, that is contaminated with bacteria and virus, as for e.g. river or lake water. It covers the demand of one person for 6 months.
While the AQQA -bag provides drinking water in emergency situations, the AQQA-system is made for sustainable solutions, that are installed permanently and provide drinking water for a community for many years. E.g.: One AQQA80 filter can supply enough water for a small village of up to 1600 persons. It is simply submerged into a tank, that is build locally. The raw water runs through the filter just by gravity. In a second treatment step the water is treated with the AQQA-net using the photocatalytic effect.
The product knowledge we gained by this experience is indicated by the following list of products suitable for processing on a GEA Filtration membrane filtration system. These systems include microfiltration, ultrafiltration, nanofiltration, and reverse osmosis with either spiral-wound, stainless steel, ceramic, tubular, or plate-and-frame configurations.
Salt brine is used to cure many different varieties of cheese. Disposal of salt brine is expensive and often prohibited due to high salt content. Ultrafiltration rejects the fats and proteins that are expelled from cheese into the brine and allows continuous re-use of salt brine baths.
DEVISE ENGINEERING designs and constructs autonomous packaged systems for Tertiary Treatment aimed for water recovery and re-use.
The systems comprise of pre-engineered and prefabricated units all installed inside an appropriately modified ISO container for easy deployment and quick installation and start-up.
DEVISE uses top quality Ultra-Filtration membrane modules and in the package is included all necessary equipment, systems and controls for a complete installation.
