    A wide variety of wastes are too hazardous to be disposed of by traditional means. Hospitals, clinics, laboratories, nursing homes, funeral homes, dental offices and veterinary clinics are just some examples of places that produce potentially dangerous bioactive waste, often referred to as biomedical waste.
