Industrial briquette presses for plastic briquetting

There is no such thing as “just waste”. Business leaders are well aware that even the smallest parts of production waste have a value. By pressing foamed plastic for instance, the waste volume can be compressed at a rate of 30:1 saving storage space, disposal and transportation costs.

Industrial briquette presses for Wood briquetting

No matter where wood chips come from, whether it is hard or soft wood, chipboard, MDF, plywood, wood shavings, saw dust or swarf: volume can be reduced by up to 90 %. This is particularly attractive to the furniture industry, saw mills and cabinetmaking. With briquette presses from WEIMA, now valuable wood waste can be processed to compact briquettes and sold or used as an own heating source. In general, briquettes have a high calorific value, much higher than regular firewood and comparable to brown coal brought about by a longer and more even burning process. By the way, less ash is also produced.

Industrial briquette presses for Biomass briquetting

Harness the energy that’s inside your biomass! For too long, human and naturally produced substances have been disregarded. Straw, hay, tobacco, nutshells, miscanthus, pulse parings, cotton and flax are valuable resources for heat energy generation. The briquette shape makes your waste more cost effective to transport and ready in a saleable format. The calorific value of highly compressed briquettes is much greater than of lose material also optimising the combustibility characteristics. Additionally, explosive dust can be handled more safely. Efficient re-utilization of biomass as a cheap alternative fuel source cannot be ignored, particularly in the production of agricultural foods.

Industrial briquette presses for paper briquetting

There is no such thing as “just waste”. Business leaders are well aware that even the smallest parts of production waste have a value. By pressing foamed plastic for instance, the waste volume can be compressed at a rate of 30:1 saving storage space, disposal and transportation costs. A number of other plastics like Styrofoam that are very bulky and light weight can be utlised in this process, they include; cellular material, PUR-foam etc.. Reduce disposal costs and simplify handling with WEIMA!

Waste Compaction for the Depackaging Systems for Food Waste Industry

The food and drink industry relies on modern packaging materials and systems to extend the life of its products and to make them easy to store and transport. Inevitably during these processes wastage occurs whether this is when food expires, through faulty packaging or is otherwise unfit for sale or consumption, disposal can become a costly burden for the food manufacturers or retailers.

HSM depackaging equipment solution, the universal recycling presses (URP’s) are designed to recover organics from food waste and deal with a variety of materials from plastic wrapping and containers, to wax-coated cardboard and even metal cans.

HSM depackaging machines make it possible to efficiently recycle and recover organic and packaging waste from food waste.

Hazardous waste treatment solutions for metal industry

Sludge by-products from the metalworking industry have a high potential for recycling. Prolonged grinding processes can generate large amounts of highly valuable, alloy-rich sludge; consisting of metal powder and cooling lubricants. Inside our VacuDry system, the thermal separation of the liquids (hydrocarbons, eventually water) and solids (metal powder) takes place in an oxygen free atmosphere. This absence of oxygen ultimately eliminates material degradation by oxidation, and self-ignition or explosion risks. Operation under a low vacuum ensures the possibility to recover the cooling lubricants for later reuse. After the thermal treatment, for appropriate handling in the melting process, the metal powder is pressed into briquettes. With the econ VacuDry technology, 100% recycling of all ingredients is possible.
