    Water treatment for power plants

The process of electricity generation from fossil fuels such as coal, oil and natural gas is water-intensive. Between 40-50% of all water abstracted and used in developed countries is used in the generation of electricity. Thus, a reliable, abundant and predictable source of raw water supply to a power plant is a critical factor in site selection. Water supplies are required to provide various process waters for the following essential main purposes such as make-up water, cooling water for steam turbine condensers, and auxiliary plant cooling water.

The primary application of modern water treatment technology is to maintain the integrity and performance of the power plant. Critical plant applications have water purity or conditioning requirements that must be adhered to for safe, reliable and efficient power generation.

Experience has shown that integration of water technology treatments with power plant design can be very important in reducing operational problems and component failures

At power plant worldwide there are increasing limitations on water availability and environmental restrictions on discharges. This is expected to promote measures for water conservation and to have an increasing influence on water treatment decisions. At power plant, the recycling of internal wastewater streams can extend from the recovery of individual high-quality waste streams, which can be reused either directly or after only limited treatment, through to the development of fully integrated water/wastewater treatment systems for zero liquid discharge. However, the application of reuse schemes requires site-specific assessment, as not all waters may be viable options for recovery.

  • Energy and Fuels from Commercial Waste

Commercial Waste is similar to Municipal Solid Waste although it tends to have more biodegradable products. Commercial waste is defined as all wastes created by commercial businesses. This can include, but is not necessarily limited to, solid or liquid wastes originating from offices, stores, markets, restaurants, shopping centres and other enterprises. We receive Commercial waste into the Materials Recycling Facility (MRF) at the front end of the Gasplasma® energy from waste plant. Any recyclable materials are recovered and the remainder is dried and shredded to make Refuse Derived Fuel (RDF). The RDF is used as fuel in the Gasplasma® plant to generate clean, renewable power and heat.

  • Continuous process waste plastic to oil recycling

continuous waste plastic to oil Solution: Continuous pyrolysis plant Function: Recycling waste plastic to fuel oil Applicable raw material: ABS / Mixed plastic, PE/PP/PS Plastic, PET Plastic not recommended Output: 50-90% fuel oil ,10-50% carbon blakc Heating fuel: Coal / wood/ fuel oil / gas Pyrolysis plant land size: 25x20m Reactor design: Mutiple reactors with internal rotating Reactor material: Q245/ Q345 Boiler plate

  • Carbon black application of continuous waste tire pyrolysis plant

Carbon Black Powder (30%) The second product of continuous pyrolysis plant for tires recycling is carbon black. The quantity of carbon black is about 30% to 35% according to tyre quality. The use of carbon black is as a chemical strengthener in rubber and coloring agent in pigment industries. This carbon black price is very competitive compared to petroleum carbon black, so our pyrolysis carbon black is good option in stead of petroleum carbon black.

    Waste to Energy

We can treat the air streams from waste management plants, MBT (Mechanical Biological Treatment) reception and composting areas, Waste Water Treatment Plants (WWTP), Refuse Derived Fuel (RDF) Plants, gasification of waste, syngas, torrefaction, gas engines and biogas upgrading. In waste management plants and WWTP, we remove the odors that may be causing a nuisance to neighbors, with bioreactors using Biomass to degrade odorous components and where odors are particularly intractable or VOC emissions higher, thermal oxidizers to meet prescribed emission limits and odor levels. In RDF Plants, Syngas, Gasification, Gas Engine and Biogas Upgrading applications, we employ thermal oxidizers, particulate removal and DeNOX systems, for the control of VOC, NOx, CO and particulates to prescribed emission limits.

  • Plastic bag to fuel oil machine

Plastic bag is a most important source of plastic waste, which is called white trash. So we must come up with a method to recycle plastic waste to improve the environment. As a leader in the field of recycling plastic waste, Doing group has a special machine that aims at plastic bag recycling. This plastic bag recycling machine can produce fuel oil from waste plastic bags. The oil has many applications. It can be widely used as fuel oil in industries such as steel, iron and boiler factories, ceramics, power or chemical industries or hotels, restaurants etc. or used for generators to get electricity. It also can be refined to diesel by pyrolysis oil distillation plant, which can be used in the low speed engine, such as digging machine, road roller, loading machine etc. or sold directly at a higher price. The Plastic bag to fuel oil machine also has two other end- products, carbon black and a little combustible gas. Contact: Ms Bonnie www.wastetireoil.com Phone: +86 15893800169

  • Refuse Derived Fuel (RDF) & Solid Recovered Fuel (SRF)

A full-scale Gasplasma® plant can make its own RDF from MSW/Commercial Waste. The waste is brought directly into a fuel preparation hall at the front of the building. Inside the fuel preparation hall there is industry standard equipment that can recover glass, metals and hard plastics from the wastes for recycling. The remaining waste is then dried and shredded to make a Refuse Derived Fuel (RDF) for the Gasplasma® energy from waste process. Clients who already produce RDF may not require a fuel preparation hall. APP can design a plant without this facility, accepting the RDF directly from the client. Secondary Recovered Fuel or Solid Recovered Fuel (SRF) is often confused with Refuse Derived Fuel because they are similar in nature. However, SRF is produced to reach a clearly defined standard such as CEN/343 ANAS whereas RDF is not.

    Evaporation technology for waste industry

The leachate produced by the waste in the landfill is an extremely pollutant effluent that requires high effective treatment processes to comply with the very strict limits for discharging operations. EVALED evaporators are a technological solution which allow to exploit the biogas cogeneration for the full or partial power supply of the plant within the limits of the environmental regulations and to reduce the relevant costs for thermal energy and leachate disposal.

    Sensor for Biogas

Anaerobic Digestion plants produce various gas components from a source material (or feedstock) that can be composed either solely or as a mixture of slurries, purpose-grown crops, food and organic waste material. The composition of the gas produced varies depending upon the feedstock and the Anaerobic digestion process itself. As a consequence, it is normal to measure various components of the resultant gas produced to evaluate the efficiency of the Anaerobic Digestion process. Furthermore, due to the flammable nature of Methane (CH4), and the risk of asphyxiation, most plants feature ambient air monitoring to protect personnel from any unplanned accumulation of leaked gas. CH4 is the gas component fuel, which is the intended end product of the anaerobic digestion process. In biogas plants, the concentration of CH4 in a working plant varies between 50%-75%, which is well above the Upper Explosive Limit (UEL).
