Ideal for industrial applications, our Aire-O2 Microfloat Dispersed Air Flotation (DAF) System is an effective, affordable and reliable physical/chemical pre-treatment technology for removing up to 90% of fats, oil, and grease, 60% of total suspended solids, and 30% of Biochemical Oxygen Demand – all at a much lower cost than traditional DAF systems.
Lagoon SolutionsWith thousands of installations worldwide, Aeration Industries provides lagoon solutions that are built on the experience and expertise that comes from more than 40 years of experience in wastewater treatment. Whether it’s industrial wastewater treatment requiring thorough mixing and high oxygen transfer efficiency, or a municipal wastewater treatment system requiring efficient and effective treatment; Aeration Industries will design a solution to optimize your current lagoon.
Batch mixing generally refers to mixing processes in vessels and ITS tomography instrumentation provides a tool to understand, optimise and control mixing. Tomography sensors take data from between 200 to 2,400 measurement points in a single snapshot, thus providing a sound basis to monitor changes in concentration of different materials and so quantify mixing. Sensors can be retrofitted through using probe based instruments, scanning the z-axis (which usually presents the key challenge to effective mixing)....
LWT`s dredging systems are used for aeration lagoon / pond dredging applications. A dredging system for removal and disposal of raw sewage solids, decayed algae and microorganisms, and algae-laden sludge results in a long term solution for treatment plants. Aeration lagoon / pond dredging increases lagoon storage volume, provides improved detention time, and accommodates increased plant flow.
Maintain healthier ponds, increase stocking densities, and generate higher yield with optimum oxygen transfer. Maintaining the proper level of oxygen dispersion in your systems is critical to the success of your operation – and the life of your fish. Poor dissolved oxygen levels, fluctuating water temperatures, and stratification all can negatively affect fish health and pond production.
Using Oxygen to Solve Waste Water Problems
Lack of oxygen can cause inadequate purification or even anaerobic decomposition, as well as offensive odors. Injecting oxygen into sludge beds &/or piping allows you to:
* Reduce nitrogen levels
* Meet peak O2 demands
* Have a back up to your aeration system
* Pre-purify waste water
* Control odors
* Deter corrosion damage
* Meet increased requirements regarding waste water purification
In wastewater treatment, the aeration system is often the largest energy consumer. It seems the age-old answer for every problem was to increase horsepower and add more aeration. When you analyze aeration, only 20% to 50% of the energy consumed is needed for production of dissolved oxygen (DO) for processing BOD and nitrifying bacteria. The remaining energy is used just for the mixing effect.
Your partner from vine, to barrel, to bottle. Wine production generates a wide variety of challenges managing wastewater throughout the year, and decades of helping winemakers has taught us that no two winery wastewater treatment systems are alike. In the face of increasing scrutiny from regulatory agencies, along with water, energy, and sustainability initiatives, we understand why you might feel like your focus is shifting from winemaking to wastewater management. That’s where we can help.
There are many options to apply methods to avoid damaging the environment. In the case of wastewater e.g. the ventilation of the sediment tank or the pressure ventilation of biological wastewater treatment systems. The oxygen introduction is important, for deep wastewater tanks, wastewater treatment systems with standard aeration tanks or natural clarification ponds alike. If the wastewater has already entered the natural cycle, ventilating lakes and rivers prevents additional contamination. When treating...
In many fields of water treatment Körting ejectors are applied as gas introducing systems; Waste water aeration in aeration tanks and SBR-Plants. Introducing ozone or oxygen. Pressurised dissolved air flotation. Disinfection of potable water and de-acidification. Further applications are: Diluting and conveying acids and lye during the process of regenerating ion exchangers.
Liquid waste discharged by domestic residences, commercial properties, industry, and/or agriculture. Superior Tank Co., Inc. offers a wide range of products such as Open Tops, Aeration and Trickling Filter tanks. Our engineers can create a wastewater bolted or welded steel storage tank system that will best suit your needs. We are able to package and ship our bolted and welded steel storage tanks internationally.
Conventional wastewater treatment systems are focused on efficient removal of polluting components. This is commonly done through aeration and separation of formed biomass from the cleaned water. After treatment the water would be discharged onto surface waters or subsoil irrigation. Introduction of polishing steps after these treatment systems opened up the possibilities to reuse water for either irrigation or even potable water. DMT Environmental Technology also implements these solutions with its MemBioRex...
