  • Water Data Management Solution for Meteorology Sector

The management of hydro-meteorological data demands the highest process standards. Both recorded and derived data from various observation areas are archived together, edited in graphical and tabular form, analyzed, evaluated and presented. In order that these tasks are carried out efficiently and economically, the support of a specialized software solution is required. Our water data management solutions offer a comprehensive spectrum of functions for integrated collection, processing, quality control, evaluation and publication of data from extensive hydro-meteorological measuring networks.

Real-time Control System for Wastewater Treatment Plants

Wastewater treatment plants (WWTP) are subject to large variation in flow and load, not to speak of uncertainties on the composition of the incoming wastewater. On top of that, the activated sludge treatment process, as used by the vast majority of treatment plants, is difficult to control due to the complex behaviour of the biological process. Nevertheless WWTPs are run 24/7, with operators and management challenged to meet ever tightening environmental regulations.

In order to meet the operational demands of modern-day plants, a new control system was developed. Proprietary control algorithms were introduced based on a large set of data from nutrient measurements in various WWTPs. The customer`s benefits are twofold: (1) achieving optimum effuent quality and, at th same time, (2) lowering energy needs and dosing of commidity chemicals.

  • OneRainware™ - Radar rainfall for real-time and analytical applications.

Accurate estimation of the spatial distribution of rainfall is critical to successfully model hydrologic processes. OneRain has worked with engineering firms and those with responsibilities in Stormwater and Wastewater Management across the U.S. to provide radar rainfall data to help characterize storm events or flow problems in collection systems and as a basis for both real-time and design-oriented modeling. OneRainware products and services offer: *Real-time gauge-adjusted radar rainfall (GARR) data *Real-time area-average rainfall *Real-time forecast rainfall *End-of-month archive quality gauge-adjusted radar rainfall data *Historical and post-event analysis using archived rainfall estimates *Web-delivered calibrated radar-rainfall data *StormProperties™ Analysis. GARR data are used in flood warning, runoff modeling, basin modeling, I/I studies, litigation, real-time control, design storms, and National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) compliance activities.
