Our company Honeycombs Ceramics B.V. supports installations used for RTO (Regenerative Thermal Oxidizer). These gas (waste) installations use ceramic beds of blocks to cool released hot gasses. This is one of the most important processes within the installation. Honeycombs Ceramics B.V. is established in Europe and China. This global connection makes us unique, it takes one contact to make RTO business a low-cost and durable business. Our lines are short, we are always available, and both countries have sales offices and warehousing. Core feature: Efficiency. Industrial briquette presses for Wood briquetting

No matter where wood chips come from, whether it is hard or soft wood, chipboard, MDF, plywood, wood shavings, saw dust or swarf: volume can be reduced by up to 90 %. This is particularly attractive to the furniture industry, saw mills and cabinetmaking. With briquette presses from WEIMA, now valuable wood waste can be processed to compact briquettes and sold or used as an own heating source. In general, briquettes have a high calorific value, much higher than regular firewood and comparable to brown coal brought about by a longer and more even burning process. By the way, less ash is also produced.

  • Dead tree and forest thinning disposal

Dead trees and wood from forest management can be chipped and dried for gasification. The electricity generated can offset electrical costs while the consumption of waste wood offsets disposal costs. Disposal by gasification also has far lower particulate emissions than controlled burns and a lower carbon footprint than decomposition, since methane emissions from anaerobic decomposition are avoided. Decomposing wood reverts all of its carbon content to CO2, but gasification sequesters a portion of it as charcoal waste, usable as biochar.

  • Dead tree disposal

By converting dead trees into wood chips and gasifying them, our machine produces clean electricity and offsets disposal costs.

  • Disposal of dead trees, slash, and thinnings

Dead trees and wood from forest thinning can be chipped, dried, and converted to renewable energy while eliminating disposal costs. • Applications and Air Pollutants Removed in the Biomass Industry

Flue gas particulate and acid gases from biomass and bagasse boilers. Removal of ethanol, CO2 scrubbers and yeast cells from fermenters.  Removal of ash particulate, tars, acid gases and ammonia from steam reformers, gasifiers, pyrolosis units and cooling of syngas streams to acceptable limits to enable use as a fuel source for power generation or as a feedstock for chemical products. For tar removal, combination technologies can be used including oil based scrubbing solutions to reduce waste water generation. Ethanol and yeast cell removal from fermenter off-gases. Methanol from processing operations. Hydrogen sulfide removal on landfill, digester and producer gases with regenerable chemistries. Odor control for biomass storage facilities including carbon monoxide removal in wood chip storage areas.
