Online monitoring solutions for determination of ferric chloride in liquid phase EDC - Monitoring and Testing
The purpose of determining hydrogen chloride in liquid EDC (ethylene dichloride) is to protect EDC against corrosion by HCl during transport or storage. For all other analytical solutions in the chlorination process, please browse the On-line Analyzers Suite under Products & Solutions.
Overview Applications & Industries
Background
All commercial available EDC must be free of Hydrogen Chloride (HCl) to prevent corrosion of the storage and handling equipment. For this reason it is advisable to monitor downstream the purification column the HCl concentration in EDC by ionic detection using conductivity.
Parameters: Hydrogen chloride
