Peristaltic pumps and fluid path technologies for pulp and paper
High quality paper, coupled with lower production costs, is the formula for profitable paper making. Watson-Marlow pumps provide high metering accuracy and excellent resistance to the viscous and abrasive chemicals commonly used in the pulp and paper industry.
- Our range of pumps delivers:
- Accurate and repeatable dosing and metering
- Ability to handle high density pulp
- Self-priming and dry running
- High reliability and low maintenance
- Low cost of ownership
Pulp and paper plants face continual demands for improving product quality while reducing waste and costs. Accurate and reliable metering of additives and colours is a necessity. Watson-Marlow peristaltic pumps are able to operate, in the harshest industrial environments, to deliver extraordinary accuracy and consistency in metering.
Bredel hose pumps are built to safely and reliably handle viscous, corrosive and abrasive fluids such as coatings, lime slurry and Ti02. The design of our positive displacement pumps means no seals or valves are required, and the fluid is totally contained within the hose, separated from the pump. This significantly reduces pump downtime and maintenance and offers the lowest overall cost of ownership.
