PLAZKAT systems for treatment of emissions from paint making industries - Paint
It is known that 100% of the solvents contained in paints are released into the atmosphere when paint is applied and then dried. In addition, when paint is applied in a paint spray booth, about 30%of the sprayed paint is released into ambient air.
As a rule, paint spray booths, are equipped with water filters which, however, fail to catch solvent vapors. The level of solvents in the circulating water rapidly reaches saturation and they cannot be absorbed any more. If a once-through water supply system is used, solvents are released into the atmosphere via the sewage system.
Thus it is necessary to remove these vapors (xylene, benzene, acetone etc.) from the gaseous emissions. PLAZKAT systems removes the above-mentioned substances to a high degree.
