Separation and dewatering of digester output for waste management industry - Waste and Recycling - Waste Management

Separation and dewatering of suspensions are important process stages in treating waste and digester output. BELLMER KUFFERATH machines, within an overall waste management concept, divide waste streams into separate streams in waste treatment plants, for which specific treatment methods make sense. Apart from single machines, BELLMER KUFFERATH also supply complete systems for sorting and dewatering of waste streams.

BELLMER KUFFERATH experiences in this field comprise both smaller units for bio waste digestion as well as large-scale units for domestic and residual waste.

Separation/dewatering of digester output through AKUPRESS AM screw press:

  • Separation of digester output into a coarse, structured fraction and fine, liquid fraction
  • Dewatering of the coarse fraction to dry contents ranging between 40 - 60%
  • Closing and emptying of the digester
  • Dewatering of the fine, liquid fraction by means of Bellmer belt presses (WinkelPresses)

Separation/dewatering of digester output through AKUPRESS AL screw press:

  • Separation of digester output into a coarse, structured fraction and fine, liquid fraction
  • Entwässerung der groben Fraktion auf 25 - 45 % Trockengehalt
