Shredding solutions for SRF (specified recovered fuel) sector - Oil, Gas & Refineries
The SRF (Solid Recovered Fuel / Specified Recovered Fuel) is a fuel produced by shredding and dehydrating MSW (plastic, paper, textile fibers, etc.), of non-hazardous waste (both urban and special) through appropriate treatments from other non-combustible materials, such as glass, metals and inert.
As the RDF (which has lower energy productive standards), the SRF may find use in existing industrial plants (cement plants, steel mills, power plants, etc.) as a replacement to conventional fuels for the production of electrical energy.
SatrindTech proposes two-shaft shredders as primary machines for volume reduction and single shaft shredders, three- and four- shaft shredders for obtaining of a controlled size.
