Ultrasonic instrumentation for retention ponds and basin levels applications - Water and Wastewater
A retention pond`s primary use is to manage stormwater runoff to prevent flooding and downstream erosion, with the aim of improving water quality in an adjacent river, stream, lake or bay. Oil and Gas companies may use this particular form of water storage to perhaps mitigate flood risks of operations and/or to help the quality of water sources nearby, especially if they are discharging back into the environment. Non-contacting level measurement would be ideal for these applications as engineers don`t need to go anywhere near the water source and installation is quick and easy. Using low/high level alarm relay functions on a Pulsar controller helps give warning to plant operators of a potential flood risk.
